Regardless of whether you’re a beginner angler wanting to improve, or a seasoned veteran wanting to spend an enjoyable day on the water, your goals and interests can be accommodated.
Come experience floating the famous Salmon River fishery by drift boat or raft. We will quietly cover a broad area of the river to put you over fish. We take pride in sharing our knowledge and skills with our clients. From teaching basic fly or spey casting and techniques, to advanced angling concepts, our goal is to increase your knowledge of the sport and to provide you with a relaxing and pleasurable experience. Each trip will be individually tailored to suit your special needs and skill levels to ensure maximum enjoyment and fishing success for your party. Floating the beautiful Salmon River by drift boat is a wonderful thing. You will learn many holding spots that all the fish frequent, by covering miles of the river. By using the boat as a taxi in many cases we can get away from the crowds. Along with this you can bring extra rods, gear bags and clothes.

The Boat
My drift boat is a 17 foot Willie. It’s comfortable to fish in or out of the boat. It is specially designed with a thicker chine, and a lip that allows the boat to track better, allowing for ultimate control while maneuvering tight spots.
A slight perpendicular curve built into the point of the bow, to keep you dry while plunging through the roughest white water.
The modified McKenzie design with a combination of a sharper rake and a painstakingly crafted up sweep of bottom fore and aft with precisely flared sides.
Floating in a drift boat is a great way to see the river and wildlife around the river.
